It is that time already...

I can't beleive that time of year has come, time to order holiday cards. Halloween and Thanksgiving are gone and the Christmas Season is fast approching. Every year I search for the perfect holiday card. I have been looking at the great cards they have on Shutterfly.com. They have lots of different designs to choose from and many of them you don't see other places. Finding the perfect card won't be too hard, now I have to find the right pictures. Here are some of my favorite cards from shutterfly.

I like the Ho Ho Ho one here. So cute how you can put the pictures into the O. Too cute!!!

Preparing and Waiting for Carter

Big Brother Evan did a lot to prepare and wait for his little brothers arrival. We knew already what a great big brother he was going to be! He was very excited to give his little brother all his baby furniture so he moved into a big boy room, with big boy furniture.

Dr. Evan checked on mommy and baby daily

Lots of love for his baby brother already

He loved to feel mommy's belly and got so excited when he felt a kick

Evan took a big brother class and learned all about helping mommy and daddy with his brother
Evan was ready, mommy and daddy were ready, we were all moved into the new house and as settled as much as possible, and the nursery was set up and ready to go. All we needed was baby Carter to be ready to come. And that we had no control of. I had been done with work for 3 weeks and all we could do now was wait.

Our New House

Well we decided having another child wasn't enough change going on in our lives, so we thought we would add selling our house and buying a new house to the excitment. Why not just do it all at once?

So we put our house on the market and set out to search for a new one. It ended up working out more perfectly then we could have ever imagined or planned. Our old house sold very quickly, within a couple weeks of putting it on the market.

At the same time ours sold we came across a house we LOVED at a great price! We ended up closing on both houses and moving in on the same day (all this 3 weeks before our due date). Someone was really look out for us for all of this to work out so perfectly!

So now we are settled into our new home and loving it! It is in a great neighborhood with lots of families and children for Evan to play with.

Our Family Trip to Seaworld

After Christmas we took a trip to Seaworld. This trip was the definition of a perfect family vacation. We wanted to take one big vacation as a family of three, before we become a family of four. Even being 5 months pregnant, we got around pretty good. We stayed at a nice hotel right accross the street from Seaworld. We spent two days at the park, which was the perfect amount of time. We saw several shows, the Dolphin Show, Believe (Shamu Show), Pets Ahoy with dogs and cats, and Shamu Rocks (New Years night show). They were all awesome! While at Seaworld my high light would be getting to watch and pet the dolphins. I was on cloud nine! They swam over to me with a toy as if they just knew how much I loved them! During our trip we also saw polar bears, penguins, walruses, seals, manatees, big turtles, sharks, and whales (Evan's favorite). Such beautiful animals to see and watch! On New Years Eve we ate at a restaurant called Shark Encounter, where you were surrounded by shark tanks as you ate. We enjoyed some delicious steaks and then went to the Shamu Rocks Show that night. The whales danced and performed to rock music. At midnight (I actually made it up that late) we could see and hear the fireworks at Seaworld from our hotel room. It was a trip I will remember forever!

Evan is going to have a Baby Brother

It's a boy!!!

Today's Ultrasound

We went today for our ultrasound and everything looks great! Our little guy was not shy in letting us know his gender. It was great to get to see him, but can't wait to really meet him this spring.

19 months along

I am feeling really good, tired once I get home, but that is to be expected. I have finally started to feel movement which always makes it more exciting!

Evan with his future brother

Evan is very excited! He often touches my belly and tells me the baby is getting bigger. He is going to be such a great big brother and helper!

We will continue to keep you posted. Love to everyone!!!

Here comes number two!

Tim, Evan, and I are excited to say we are expecting
Baby Johnson #2, coming this spring (April).

Ultra sound 8 weeks

So far I have been feeling well, just a little more tired than usual. Evan is super excited about being a big brother and rubs and kisses my lil belly often, as I am poking out a little, much sooner this time around. We will keep you posted as we grow.

Love to everyone!
